FAQs
How much does Photo Restoration cost?
Unfortunately there is no easy answer to this most asked question. Each and every photo is individual. The severe damage to a small detailed photo may cost more than damage to a large none detailed photo.
Minor damage can take less than an hour to fix. Whereas facial damage or damage to detailed areas can take hours to restore.
We can only give a price once we have seen the photo and can then give a detailed assessment of the damage and the time taken to restore it. You can use our basic price guide to give rough idea of cost but please bear in mind that the damage may cross over more than one price bracket.
Howe long does it take?
We aim to process your restoration within 3-5 working days and provide a proof showing before and after images. Once you can confirm you are happy with the restoration, your final print can be made. A courier service is used to send out any prints or frames once payment has been received.
How can I pay?
You can use online banking to make a direct credit to our account. Pixelbox ltd. 38-9007 0854173-00.
You can also pay using Visa or Mastercard Credit Card. There is a 4% surcharge for credit card transactions.

How can I send you my photo?
You can use our upload facility here to upload a scan of your photo. Or otherwise use your phone to take a picture of the photo you would like restoring and upload that to us.
You can also send the original photo by courier post, or drop it off in person if you are local.
What are the scanning requirements?
That will largely depend on the size of print you have and the size of print you would like us to make for you. If your photo is very small or very large then contact me for custom scanning settings.
General settings for a 6x4 image:
600 dpi resolution full colour RGB (even for black and white photos) Maximum quality JPEG setting.
This should result in file that is about 6-7MB in size. We can print quite large from this size of scanned photo, if required.
If your original photo is smaller or larger than 6" x 4" then file size will vary accordingly, so will the final print size.
